2017 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Card Series Day 4

We are trucking right along.   Here is Day 4 of the Holiday Card Series using one of my favorite sets…Christmas Pines and the coordinating Pretty Pines Thinlits.  This card is not my original idea but unfortunately, I have seen it in several places and can’t identify the original creator.

You can download the Inspiration Sheet with all the measurements and supplies used to create this project or watch the step by step instruction video on YouTube

Thanks for stopping by and I will see you soon!

2017 Stampin’ Up! Holiday Card Series Day 3

We are getting there! Here is Day 3.  I absolutely love silver embossing with Soft Sky, one of my favorite combos.  What I like most about this card, is that it uses stampsets that aren’t really designed for Christmas Cards.  While yes, the Better Together set offers a Christmas sentiment, it also has multiple other uses.

You can watch the step by step video by clicking the picture above or here => Video

You can also download the Inspiration Sheet which includes all the measurements and supplies used to create the above project.

2017 Holiday Card Series Day 2

Good morning all,

Sadly, I am behind schedule with editing and uploading by about a week.  They are coming, I promise :o).  Any who, I hope you are all getting into the swing of things with the holidays QUICKLY approaching.

This is a fairly quick and easy card to mass produce if you need a card in a hurry and requires only a few materials.

This is one of those cards that can easily be stepped up if you want to glam it up bu just adding some rhinestones or even some ribbon across the middle.  Here is the inspiration sheet with a complete list of supplies and all the measurements.

You can click here or on the image above to watch me create this card on my YouTube Channel

If you would like to be entered into the drawing to win a kit with the cardstock to create this card, please leave a comment below.

Card Classes, Updates and Upcoming Holiday Card Series

Hello stampers and crafters!

I realize it has been quite some time since I have posted and EVEN LONGER since I have posted a video on the blog and I am grateful if you have stuck around.  Just wanted to pop in and say a quick hello and give you all a few updates.  As some of you may know, I slowed down on posting and my online presence to focus on my in person card making classes.  I am thrilled with my monthly classes and group of women that humble me each month by coming to class.  We really have become like a family and I can’t imagine where I would be with out them.  I will post some pictures below of the cards we have made over the last couple of months.  Due to their success, I am 100% dedicated to continuing these classes.  If you are local to the Loudoun County area, check out my events page to see upcoming class dates (class is typically the 3rd Saturday of every month).

Life Updates:  With 3 college tuitions looming in my future, I decided I needed to make some changes in my work life.  In late July I change jobs which has included more hours, longer commute and less time to create/craft.  I love making video’s for all of you, but I just haven’t had the energy or time to create, edit and post videos.  This brings me to my next update…the Holiday Card Series.  These are by far my most popular videos and I am still planning to continue the series this year.  I am not sure when the series will start, but I have at least 8 cards planned, so I hope you will join me.

I will also try to start posting more projects for you all to enjoy even if I don’t have a video to go along!

If you need supply lists or instructions for any of the card projects below, please let me know and as always, all of these products can be purchased by clicking the link in the right side bar.

Another Fun Class & New Location!

Happy Sunday!  I know  it has been a while since I posted last so I wanted to jump on this morning and get something out to you guys.  Although I have not been posting, I have been busy planning out my class schedules and really trying to focus on where I want/need to spend my time.  I enjoy being live and face to face with you guys so I have been working on my in person classes.  I have recently had a change in locations, so working out all the kinks has been my focus.   Continue reading “Another Fun Class & New Location!”
